Help your child improve motor skills and increase his or her understanding of how the world works. Join CNSE CMOST in the GE Junior Discovery room for a hands-on sensory science activity. No pre-registration required, activity included with museum admission. Ages 2 - 6.

Engineer It - Catapults

Animal Adventures Camp-In

Join CNSE CMOST staff for a walk on the wild side in this animal adventure. We'll learn about habitats, animal kingdoms and more in this exploration of all things animal! This camp-in satisfies some requirements for the following badges: Girl Scouts - Bugs, Senses, Animal Habitats, Animal Helpers. Ages 4+.Learn more.

School Vacation Camps

Tuesday, November 4 - Inventors Workshop
Are you a junior engineer? Are you fascinated by how things are made, how they work and redesigning them? Then this camp is for you! We will experiment with building bridges, creating catapults and many other things in this hands-on camp. Ages 5-7.

Tuesday, November 4 - Soda Pop Science
Fizz, bubble, pop! Join CNSE CMOST as we investigate the science of soda pop and more in this hands-on chemistry camp. Ages 8 - 11.

Tuesday, November 11 - Wizard Science
Create and test potions, perform levitating experiments, explore herbology, and study mythical beasts. Enter the wonderful world of wizardry and discover the science behind the magic!

Tuesday, November 11 - Itsy, Bitsy, Teenie, Weenie … The Science of Small
It's teeny tiny and its science! Join us for this introduction to nanotechnology! Campers will explore the world of small as they experiment with the unusual properties of things at the nanoscale. Get really small and explore the next generation of science!
