Go Power!

CMOST welcomes a new interactive exhibit called Go Power! that teaches kids about energy pathways and transformations. Go Power!, sponsored by GE, comes to CMOST in partnership with the former Children's Museum of the Berkshirers.

The exhibit consists of simulated power lines that lead into the Pathways section of Go Power! Kids and their families will have the chance to become energy investigators and follow the paths of electricity, natural gas, and alternative energy sources through the walls, floors and appliances of the simulated kitchen. Kids will also be able to explore and discover that meters measure dollars as well as power, and that food energy in kitchen cupboards can serve as fuel for cars and appliances as well as the human body. Go Power! will provide the opportunity for all of our guests to explore energy from it's beginnings to it's end as they make their way through this new interactive and fun exhibit!
