Topics:

Dinosaur Detectives: (Codes 101 & 106) What do we really know about the dinosaurs of long ago? In this camp children will get hands-on as they experiment with measuring the size of dinosaurs, practicing their dino excavating skills and becoming junior paleontologists. We will even learn about the dinosaurs’ reptilian cousins that live at CMOST.

Moving Madness: (Codes 102 & 107) Have you ever flown a kite? How about made a balloon car? Have you ever designed a moon lander? Join us for moving madness where we will investigate the forces of flight, explore the mechanics of motion, and much more. This camp will be a hands-on adventure investigating motion and the science of things that go!

Full STE(a)M Ahead: (Codes 103 & 108) Join CMOST staff while we go on a STE(a) M adventure. Each day will be packed with fun activities that help us learn all about science, technology, engineering, art and math. Experiments, art projects, creating, building, tinkering and a few new ways of looking at math will make this a week packed with excitement

Prickly, Tickly, Slimy & Blue: (Codes 104 & 109) Explore the fascinating world of plants and animals with CMOST! Why does a skunk have stripes? Does that animal really have a blue tongue? What is a skunk cabbage? Why are worms slimy? Answer these questions and many more as you explore the outdoor world. Campers will get up close with nature through a combination of art and hands on science activities.

Fact or Fiction: The Science Behind Your Storybooks: (Code 105) Have you ever read a story and wondered “hmmm, could that really happen”? Join this exciting camp where we work to separate fact from fiction with hands on activities and games that help us expose the truth. While we are at it we will create books of our own. Will it be fact or fiction?

Science Camp All-Stars: (Code 110) The All Stars Camp is CMOST’s annual “best of “camp week. During this week campers will participate in the best experiments and activities as voted by our 2018 campers. The “best of” activities will be selected from the previous nine weeks of summer camp. Join us for a highlight reel of our favorite experiments and activities.
