April School Break Science Camps
Monday, April 9th through Friday, April 13th
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
for Kids ages 5 to 11
Children are grouped according to age.
Monday, April 9th – Innovation & Invention
This camp lets kids bang, bend and brainstorm as they take a shot at inventing several different contraptions. A fun camp with hands-on building that starts with your idea and ends with your inventions. Every camper will be given the tools to maximize their creative potential and have fun doing it, too.
Tuesday, April 10th – Nature Investigators
Spring has sprung and we are heading outdoors. Join us as we investigate the happenings along our outdoor nature trail. Campers will learn about the local plants and animals as they explore what’s happening out our own backdoors!
Wednesday, April 11th – Easy, Breezy Blimps!
Join CMOST in an exploration of blimps in this day long science adventure. We will get hands-on and investigate blimps while learning about things such as force, Newton’s laws, and buoyancy while experimenting with sky gliders, blimp jets and more.
Thursday, April 12th – Space Rocks
Have you ever wondered what the craters on the moon were made from? What's the surface of Saturn like? Join us in an exploration of space geology. Experiment with making craters, design your own Saturn to take home and more as you delve in and figure out why space rocks!
Friday, April 13th – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Come and learn about the infamous 3 R’s? Join us as we learn all about the different ways that you can reduce, reuse and recycle at your house. We’ll become energy explorers, worm recyclers and more in this down and dirty camp.

CMOST Members:

Extended Camp Care
Before Care: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Additional fee of $6 per day per camper
After Care: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Additional fee of $6 per day per camper
Extended Camp Care is only available with pre-registration.
Each camp includes: Educational materials, craft supplies, and a daily snack.
(Lunch is not included)
We require a minimum of 8 participants to run camps, so invite your friends to come along with you to explore and discover the world of science and technology. If we do not meet our minimum number, the program will be cancelled 10 days prior to the start date of the camp. You will be notified by phone and email.
