Nano Camp
What is nanotechnology and what makes it so interesting? Join CMOST in this camp for all things super small and nano. This camp is an introduction to nanotechnology and an exploration of all of the things that it might be able to do in your future! Campers will be immersed in the world of nanotechnology as they experiment with nano concepts. Campers will meet professionals from the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) who will share their knowledge. They will also have the opportunity to visit CNSE and explore everything nano from the gowning up process to the work that happens in the clean rooms. (One full day of Nano camp will be held at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Parents must drop off and pick up campers at the college in Albany on that day.)

GE Art & Science Camp (two week camp)
A science meets art camp! Join in on the fun this summer in this hands-on camp where science meets art in a head-on fashion.  This camp is a joint venture between CMOST and the Arts Center of the Capital Region, located in Troy, NY.  During this two week camp program, students will spend their first week at CMOST experimenting, investigating and discovering the field of science.  They will spend each day learning about and exploring different scientific disciplines as they really delve in and attempt to answer the in-depth question of what is science and who exactly is a scientist.  Throughout their explorations they will bridge between science and art.  Students will then spend the second week at the Arts Center in their Digital Arts Studio creating arts-based projects that further explore and explain the scientific concepts that campers investigated at CMOST.   GE camp scholarship opportunities are available for this camp, please contact the Arts Center of the Capital Region at 518-273-0552.

GIST - Girls in Science and Technology Tween Camps
The Girls In Science and Technology camps are for ladies only and are designed to engage young women in hands-on scientific exploration in a nurturing environment. Curriculum for the GIST programs is developed and taught by CMOST educators and visiting scientists.
