CMOST field trips are unique, fun, and engaging experiences that allow children to learn through play. All field trips are led by a museum educator, and will immerse your students in hands-on STEAM exhibits and activities.   • A minimum of 15 people are required to attend.
  • The cost is $9 per child
  • A $135.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. This deposit will be subtracted from the cost of your trip.
  • Full payment is required 2 weeks prior to your program date.
  • Two weeks notice is required for both reschedule and cancellation requests. If you fail to provide us with two weeks notice, you will be billed the full amount.
  • In the case of inclement weather we will reschedule your program at a mutually agreed upon date.

CMOST field trips are standards-based and designed to help students learn at their own pace and ability level.

Science for Every Child Field Trip Scholarships
Thanks to generous community partners, businesses and individual supporters, CMOST's Science for Every Child program provides free or reduced admission to qualifying school groups. CMOST will accept applications to accommodate groups on a first come, first served basis. Programs must be booked for the months of January or February 2020. Application coming soon

Preference will be given to schools that offer a higher percentage of free or reduced lunches, Title I schools, and schools that are located more than 60 miles round trip from The Museum. There is limited funding for this program, both full and partial scholarships will be awarded. Programs are considered reserved once formal confirmation is sent by CMOST. Proof of transportation arrangements must be submitted to CMOST at least two weeks prior to the trip.
