Summer Camp

CMOST's STEAM Camps provide a unique summer camp experience for children who are interested in delving deeper into science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Through hands-on experiments and creative projects CMOST provides a fun discovery environment that fosters self-efficacy. Under the knowledgeable guidance of our Museum Educators, who make each day exciting, children are encouraged to broaden their motivation and engagement with STEAM discovery.

Camps are intended for children entering grades 1 - 5; the curriculum includes a variety of experiments, play and project based activities that entice and enable children to explore and learn about STEAM concepts over the course of their summer vacation.

Returning this Summer - we're taking the learning offsite! We're partnering with the Parker School to expand our learning campus and enhance our suite of camp experiences. A full -day of STEAM activities taught by CMOST's Educators awaits.

Cancellation, Refund and Camp Change Policy: You may cancel your registration, in writing, up to three weeks prior to your program start date. To cover administrative costs, you will be refunded 70% of the pre-paid program fee. No refund will be made if cancellation is received less than three weeks prior to camp start date (determined by postmark on the envelope/digital postmark). Children dismissed due to discipline, behavior or similar situations will not be entitled to a refund. Children absent from any day of camp will not be entitled to a refund, credit or exchange of dates. Summer Camp Scholarship Thanks to our generous funders in support of our Science for Every Child program, CMOST is able to offer a limited number of partial scholarships for our 2020 summer camp.

Scholarships covering 80% of tuition are available for families receiving public assistance (TANF, general assistance, WIC, Medicaid or medical assistance, SSI, food stamps, Section 8 housing, free or reduced lunch). Families may use a scholarship for any available camp. Multiple scholarships per family are allowed, but limit one scholarship per child. Scholarships will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Application will be found here in early February.
